Mridula Garg
Mridula Garg writes with equal proficiency in Hindi and in English. Her 30 books in Hindi include novels, short story collections, plays and collections of essays. She received the Sahitya Akademi award for Miljul Man (2013) and the Vyas Samman for Kathgulab (2005). The Last Email, her novel in English (2017), is unique in its epistolary technique. Many of her works such as Anitya are translated into English. Her several other honours include the Mira Smriti Samman Award (2016) for Distinguished Contribution to Hindi Literature. Recently, she received the AutHer Award (2024) for Lifetime Achievement, for her timeless contribution to Indian writing in both English and Hindi languages.
